Why a ramp makes your robot vacuum more independent

Modern robot vacuums and mopping robots often return to the station several times during one cleaning run: to empty the dust container, wash the mop, refill fresh water, dispose of dirty water or recharge. With a suitable ramp, the robot can reach rooms, thresholds, steps and the station by itself. Cleaning can run while you are away, and you do not have to move the robot or help it in between.

Custom width, segmented for large ramps

threshold ramps and step ramps can be ordered in the width you need. For especially wide ramps, we divide the ramp into matching segments for logistical reasons. This makes shipping, handling and installation easier without limiting the usable width on site.

Compatible with common robot vacuums

The step ramp is designed around robot vacuum climbing ability and ground clearance. Model, sensors, ramp width and floor condition are all taken into account.

• Roborock S and Q series: 15 degrees, except Roborock S7 with 10 degrees.
• Dreame L series: 15 degrees.
• iRobot Roomba i and j series: 15 degrees.
• Ecovacs Deebot: 10 degrees.
• Xiaomi, eufy, Mova, Medion and comparable models: 15 degrees.

Incline and depth: 10 degrees or 15 degrees

For a door threshold or low transition up to 10 cm, the robot vacuum threshold ramp up to 10 cm is usually the more compact solution.

For steps, landings and split-level areas

The step ramp is the right choice when the height difference is too large for a compact threshold ramp. It is suitable for individual steps, low platforms, room transitions and split-level areas.

Anti-slip tape and stable positioning

Every step ramp should be secured against slipping. Anti-slip tape increases grip on the floor while the ramp can still remain removable.

A firm, load-bearing and level surface is important. Then the ramp sits cleanly and the robot can approach it reliably.

Special case: robotic mowers and outdoor use

For robotic mowers, this product group can work as a special solution. Outdoors, screen-printed plywood with sealed cut edges is used. The ramp must sit on a firm surface where water cannot stand, for example paving with correct drainage.

Custom dimensions, wood species and finish

Besides height, width, depth and incline, you can choose the wood species and finish to match your home. Depending on the configuration, spruce, beech, BauBuche and oak are available.

For the finish, you can choose natural sanded wood, clear oil, brown oil or clear lacquer. Natural is suitable if you want to oil or lacquer the ramp yourself. Oil emphasises the wood look and protects the surface indoors. Clear lacquer seals the wood more strongly and is useful if the ramp is cleaned more often or may come into contact with moisture, dirt or stronger temperature changes.

Coloured lacquer finishes are available on request, for example white, cream, grey or black. Special RAL colours are possible depending on quantity and design.

For outdoor use, the step ramp can be planned as a screen-printed plywood version. Sealing the cut edges is important: only then are the board edges better protected against moisture, making outdoor use, for example with robotic mowers, practical.

How to measure correctly

For the step ramp, the most important dimensions are step height, available depth, desired width and incline. You will find the key measuring points in the measuring instructions. For special situations, you can send us photos and the main dimensions via contact.

Lead time, natural wood and tolerances

Every ramp is made individually. The usual lead time is 2 to 8 working days. You can find details under shipping and delivery.

Wood is a natural material. Colour differences, grain and natural irregularities are possible and are a sign of real wood. Wood also moves with changes in temperature and humidity. Small dimensional deviations are typical for the material and are not a defect.
